The Deposit & Referencing fee

Once you have selected the property that you want to proceed with and we have agreed the terms of the letting with the Landlord, if you are taking possession within 14 days from the date that the deposit is paid, we will require a holding deposit of £500 and if taking possession after 14 days, the deposit required would be equivalent to one month’s rent.

In addition to that, we will require the referencing fees (click on the ‘fees apply’ button next to the property selected) for each applicant and guarantor (if required). Please note that any payment made by either cash or credit card will be subject to a charge of 2.5% of the amount(s) paid.

At the time of submitting your fully completed referencing forms, we will require original passports, relevant visas/permits (if applicable) and a proof of residency which can include any one of the following:-

Utility Bill (Gas, Electricity, Water or Council Tax) or a Bank Statement, dated within the last 3 months. Once all of your references have been approved, you will be contacted by our lettings co-ordinator who will make arrangements for every tenant & guarantor (if required) to come into the office (this could be on the move-in day itself) to sign all original documentation, (see tenant charges).
